The Kingdom of God in an Age of Polarization

Join us for the first in a series of monthly seminars at Council Tree presented by North Park Theological Seminary faculty. April's seminar will be presented by Dr. Bret Widman, Associate Professor of Ministry and Director of Contextual and Lifelong Learning.

Presently, we are being cultured to pit ourselves against others. It’s not just happening in our cultural moment, but it is happening in the church as well. Through this workshop, we will look into the cultural moment of Jesus and listen to what he taught and how he taught it to help us navigate his Kingdom vision that would go into all of the world and not cause harm but would be good news. We will look at elements of power and how it is used in a positive and a negative way.
