Mission Partners
Supported Missionaries
Council Tree supports many individual missionaries. Many of our missionaries work in sensitive areas so we are unable to share their information here. If you would like to learn about those missionaries, you can find information on the missionary board in the lobby or reach out to Connie Trout.
Covenant World Mission
The Evangelical Covenant Church desires to see more disciples among more populations in a more caring and just world. In our mission partnerships around the world, we are committed to culturally relevant evangelism and the formation of communities of Christ followers, to spiritual formation and equipping God’s people for ministry and leadership, and to transformational ministries that demonstrate the whole gospel by seeking to address the spiritual, social, emotional, mental, physical, and justice needs of people.

Nicaragua
In 2007, our church started a relationship with Ameya, a village in northern Nicaragua to focus on one area of the world where we could build and maintain deep relationships. We celebrate many years of working together with the people of Ameya and the Nueva Generacion Covenant Church. This relationship, led by Jane Mirandette, has blossomed into a number of wonderful projects and opportunities. One way we support this partnership through our annual Canastas Basicas drive. These are basic food and supplies baskets that our congregation donates funds for, and the baskets are delivered to community members in Ameya each December.

Restoration Project
Restoration Project exists to help men heal their wounds and know their God, so they might restore their world. Too many men are isolated and unprepared, leaving them challenged to step into the manhood God intends. Through experiences and resources, they help men become more intentional fathers, more connected to other men, and more aware of their identity as sons of God.
International Justice Mission
Slavery is still a huge issue worldwide. IJM is a human rights agency that secures justice for victims of slavery, sexual exploitation and other forms of violent oppression. IJM lawyers, investigators and aftercare professionals work with local officials to ensure immediate victim rescue and aftercare, to prosecute perpetrators and to promote functioning public justice systems. Go to their website at www.ijm.org to see how you can be involved.
