Plan a Visit
Sunday Morning
We know that visiting a church is not always easy, but we hope to make the path as simple as possible. No matter what your perspectives on faith or your experience in faith communities may be, you matter to God and to us. We want to help you find a home where you can find strength and healing in God and utilize your unique gifts for others.
On Sunday mornings, we gather at 10:00am in the sanctuary to give our worship to God as a community of God’s people. This is the central gathering of our church. We most often practice this worship by receiving the word of God through the reading, preaching, and teaching of Scripture and by responding to God as we offer our songs, prayers, and lives as an expression of worship. You can learn more about these movements of worship by checking out our worship guide and a letter from Pastor Dan describing the worship guide.
At Council Tree Covenant, our hope and expectation is to encounter the Living God as we are formed in Christ's image, thereby growing closer to our Lord and to one another through our worship gatherings.
All ages are welcome in the sanctuary. If you have young children, we offer nursery care, preschool, and elementary classes during our worship services. These classes are staffed by fully vetted volunteers that we entrust with our own kids. You can find more information on our Early Childhood and Elementary Pages. If you would like for your kids to be a part of children’s ministries on Sunday morning, you can check your child in at the Welcome Center in the foyer near the entrance to the sanctuary.
Kids
When you arrive, you will see a Check-In desk mid-way down our main hallway. We ask that you check your kids in with a profile linked to your telephone number. If there are any issues, you will be contacted via text during the service. You and your child will also have unique, matching safety stickers that you must present in order to pick up your child.
We invite all children to worship with their families for the first portion of the service. After we share in some community life and worship, we will invite the children to participate in engaging and fun worship experiences designed just for them. We can’t wait to worship with you and your family.

Checking In

INFANTS
Mothers are welcome to use our nursing room, available across the hall from the women’s bathroom and kitchen. A live audio feed of the service can be heard here, so moms won’t miss a thing!
THE LITTLES
Our class for ages 1 to 5 (and not yet in Kindergarten), is fondly referred to as The Littles. This weekly class begins at the same time as our Sunday Worship service. Parents are welcome to drop their preschoolers off before joining the service or when the elementary kids head off for their service experience. The Littles class uses play, Bible stories, art, and music to help The Littles begin discovering that God loves them and that Jesus wants to be their friend forever. We also hope they meet a few other Little’s along the way, and that one day they realize they have become lifelong friends.
ELEMENTARY
Our kids in Kindergarten through the 5th Grade typically worship with everyone else for the beginning part of the worship service. Before the sermon starts, kids will be invited to the front of the sanctuary for a special blessing. Following the blessing, children will leave the sanctuary for a program designed just for them. Specifically, the kids will experience an interactive activity-based curriculum where the kids will spend time with each other while learning more about the Bible.
