Immerse Bible Reading Experience

Each week, all participants in our church -- from children and youth to adults -- will be focusing on the specified weekly readings for the Immerse program.
Adults and older teens can join our 9:00 am Sunday morning class for a time of facilitated conversation around where God has met you through His Word each week. Children and youth will be focusing on the readings during their own gathering times during the week.
Then stay for Worship at 10:00 am to hear preaching on the weekly readings and to continue to experience God through His Word.

About the Immerse Bible Reading Project
The very first affirmation of our denomination, the Evangelical Covenant Church, is the centrality of the Word of God. We believe that Scripture is the only perfect rule for faith, doctrine, and conduct. This fall we are going to be immersing ourselves in Scripture through a series called… you guessed it: Immerse.

Immerse is designed to help communities experience the Bible together in a unique and powerful way. Each week, participants read the assigned reading on their own and then we will gather at 9:00 am on Sunday mornings to have discussions where you can share your observations and questions based on the week’s reading. It is intentionally uncomplicated. The readings for each week will also be the focus of our Worship at 10:00 am.
If you would like to participate, please order your Immerse: Messiah book. Our journey with Immerse will continue through the fall and into the new year, during which time we will read the entire New Testament together. It's never too late to join in our community-wide Bible reading program.
