Church Life Teams

From the beginning of creation, God established holy rhythms of life and service for those who follow in God’s path. We each have personal seasons of rest and restoration, and of new life and service. Council Tree encourages spiritual wondering alongside the Holy Spirit to discern what spiritual season you may be in.

If you find yourself in a place where you have margin to serve, we could definitely use your gifts! If you feel God is calling you to explore serving, we would encourage you to start an exploratory conversation with a team lead to find out more. Here are areas we need additional volunteers in:

Welcome Team

Do you enjoy meeting new people or making others feel at home? Our Welcome Team is looking for friendly volunteers to greet guests, answer questions, and help everyone experience a warm, welcoming church. Whether you're outgoing or simply have a kind smile, there's a place for you. It would be a once a month commitment and we will show you the ropes. If you are interested, please contact the church office at info@counciltreecovenant.com.

Coffee Hour

Help us create a welcoming space for fellowship after worship. We're looking for volunteers to prepare coffee, set out refreshments, and help with cleanup. No experience is needed, and volunteers can sign up for a date that fits their schedule. We will train you, and this is a once-a-month commitment. If you're interested, please contact the church office at info@counciltreecovenant.com

Prayer Team

"The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective." – James 5:16

Do you have a heart for prayer? Do you believe God still answers prayer? We invite you to become part of our Extended Prayer Team—a group of believers dedicated to praying faithfully for our church, our community, and those in need.

As a member of the Extended Prayer Team, you will:

Pray for the needs of our church family.
Support people through confidential prayer.
Stand in faith for healing, hope, and God's direction.
Encourage others through the power of prayer.

No special experience is required—only a willing heart, a commitment to pray, and a desire to see God move.

If you feel called to this ministry, we'd love to connect with you! Contact info@couciltreecovenant.com

We also have opportunities for those who are willing to help coordinate occasional church-wide prayer opportunities. Contact info@counciltreecovenant.com.

Kids Church Teachers

Elementary and Preschool Teachers – If you are curious about our elementary and Preschool worship experience, and what a monthly or quarterly volunteer opportunity might be, we would love to talk with you! We are actively recruiting to grow our team of faithful adults serving with kids on Sunday mornings! Must have attended the church for a minimum of 6 months, pass a background check and work through a short training.

Worship Team

Do you have a heart for worship? Whether you sing or play an instrument, we'd love to invite you to explore serving on our worship team.

We're looking for people who:

Love Jesus and have a heart for leading others in worship.
Sing or play an instrument (all skill levels may be considered).
Are willing to grow musically and spiritually.
Can commit to rehearsals and scheduled services.

Serving on the worship team is more than making music—it's about creating an atmosphere where people can encounter God.

If you're interested, we'd love to meet you! Contact info@counciltreecovenant.com.

"Sing to the Lord a new song; play skillfully, and shout for joy." – Psalm 33:3
