Grow in Your Relationship
with God
Faith is a journey, not a destination.
Christian Formation Hour -- 9AM on Sundays
Some Groups to Consider
"A weekly gathering to help people learn to see Christ more clearly, read Scripture more responsibly, and participate more deeply in the life of God."
There can be great growth and fun in learning more about Christianity from a deeper perspective: about our Scripture, our history, prayer practices and other disciplines that enhance our journey. This 9:00 AM Sunday class is designed for people who want to grow deeper in their faith while connecting with other church members. We meet in the Chapel before Worship Service.
The class is open to all teens and adults, typically runs through September to May, and has a drop-in format. There is often a teaching presented related to our Christian journeys, and there is always time for discussion among the other attendees.

October 4th - November 22nd
The Christian Formation Hour Class will be the primary discussion time for adults and older teens as the Council Tree Covenant Church walks through the Immerse Bible Reading Project together. (See immersebible.com for more information about the program.)
Council Tree will be following the 16-week plan, working through the first 8 weeks of the Immerse Bible - Messiah this fall, and then picking up the latter half after the New Year. (Click here to see the reading schedule.)
During the Christian Formation Hour Class, participants will watch a brief video and then break into small groups to discuss what we have read in our Scriptures that week. We will be exploring what surprised us, what bothered us, what we learned anew about God, and how we can use this information to help us become better disciples of Jesus.
Council Tree Covenant Church Worship and children's and youth ministries will also be walking together in this immersive experience.
