Benevolence Assistance
Council Tree’s Benevolence Fund was established to care for and provide for members of our community in need. The fund often helps people struggling to pay for living expenses such as rent, utilities, and groceries. Following Jesus’ example of helping people in need is something that flows out of our life together as a church and is to be celebrated. We approach our benevolence prayerfully, kindly and with discernment.
Funds are gathered through special offerings, announced on communion Sundays. Also, anyone can give directly to the fund on the Council Tree website by selecting the benevolence option on the donate page.
If you would like to serve on this team, helping to discern how best to share the resources for the requests received, please contact info@counciltreecovenant.com.
If you would like to request some assistance, please come to the church office and fill out a request. All requests will be prayerfully considered.
If you are simply curious about how this fund is administered, please request the Council Tree's Benevolence Policy at the church office.
